It's a merc and as soon as the warranty runs out the wheels will drop off. What NAV disk did they give you for COMAND and do you have the Ipod floggle toggle?

No NAV on this one but got the IPOD kit installed in the glove box, haven't touched the 6D CD for months.

Yeah got COMMAND and made in DE but imported in from HK. It's got basically all options except the NAV and Airmatic. I did get a set of 18" wheels off of a CLS and put on it

No, forgot about that, it does not, Distronics would not be much use here anyway. Have used the speed control exactly once. 16"s came on it but these 18" look good but yes the roads in jakarta are shit for the car and wheels.

You can normalise the 'box anyway by putting the key to pos 1 without starting it and pushing the throttle down to kickdown for 70 seconds , the turn the key off and release the key.

Yeah it is as they all are due to the software, sluggish when you stomp it especially in Comfort mode.

Yes I know in C mode it is in 2nd gear but you know Jakarta traffic, better when you can you better move and take the space when you can but considering the traffic does not make sense to put it in Sport mode especially considering the difference in gas mileage between Comfort and Sport. But even in Sport there is that 1/2 to full second lag from when you floor it.

As for the DVD/TV, yeah got the decoder, came as an installed option, sitting still can watch and hear all the TV/DVD I want but once you move the vidoe switches off and the screen tells me it is doing it for my own good so I will not die watching some shitty Indo Sinetron.

I just got an iPOD floggler that allows video from the iPOD to be displayed on comand too. I'll unlock video in motion when I have the laptop in town.
