While I feel quite warm and fuzzy for the guy, I am fairly certain that California's Jet Propulsion Laboratory is somewhere in the United States. I am also quite sure that NASA is American. From where his work was performed, it would be silly not to admit that he'd never have been able to achieve what he did in NZ.

You're mistaking nuclear weapons with atomic nucleii here Piss. Rutherford knew of the atomic nucleus and discovered radioactivity which enabled radio carbon dating and thus a measurement of the Earth's true age, which in turn gave credence to the theory of evolution and the enormous amounts of geological time needed for it. He is NOT responsible for the physics which led to the bomb. That was Albert Einstein , famous heeb and more hirsute than Dilli, and his theory of relativity which posited the equivalence of mass and energy thus paving the way for nuclear weapons. Do your research.
