so, the new place on jaksa has just opened!

it's directly opposite okusi towers, or diagonally opposite from Memories Bar.

despite the name -- and no sign board has yet been put up -- the place is ok. ambiance a little on the dark side, reflecting the indigenous ownership.

i ordered sirlon steak with mushroom sauce, veges and fries. price: Rp32000. and it was good. i mean, really quite edible. in fact, much better than Pedro's steak offering, for which he charged Rp48,000.

inexperience of the staff is obvious to see. they came back three times to confirm what i had ordered. but, i was their second customer, so i'll give some latitude for the time being ...

all in all, this could be a worthy replacement for the dearly departed Ya Udah!

myself and RH just back from the said establishment. mostly good. they have wonderful tofu dishes on the menu. all under rp 13500 and great value. weirdest thing of all..old pedro was sitting in the inside section of the bar, knocking back something or others and repeating quite audibly to his companion "....the consortium..why??? consortium" Bizarre stuff....believe it's called IBC --international bartendrs club--or something...myself and rh differed on the matter the sexiness of the staff. I wanted every one. He was rather coy...Nice evening, shit company (rh excluded)....5.5/10
